Akkrua (mermaid)

In Finno-Ugric mythology, she is a goddess of the sea described as Andersen's little mermaid, half-woman and half-fish. She lurks on the rocks and combs her long hair to attract potential victims.

The composition had to work in both rectangular and square format. I put a lot of emphasis on lighting and coloring, referring to the maritime paintings in vogue in the 1700s.
